When a backup remains in the "queued" state, there is currently no automatic detection or notification. This can result in backups not running for days or even weeks without anyone noticing.
It would be helpful to have monitoring or alerts in place—for example, if a backup stays queued for more than 1 hour, a notification could be sent (via email or displayed in the dashboard).
This issue has occurred multiple times with different websites and was only noticed by chance.
