Item authorI am using Firefox Developer Edition.
I have just tried 2FA with Chrome. You are right - it does auto-focus here.
I have also tried 2FA in Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode (all extensions deactivated) - still no auto-focus.

Item authorThis is no longer an issue on my end. Auto-focus is working for me in the new 2FA-form.
