I’ve seen some changes in the Socials and Community about caddy as webserver, is becoming very popular. Thought someone also suggested it in Discord. Think its wise to check/consider to add Caddy as a Webserver option. Why? That you may be the first SaaS provider that will have this in the stack as an option in this way. See for exampe this slide for some benefits: https://x.com/tobias_petry/status/1754441746858000662?s=46&t=2aTuTpR7KGE3H-x8P1HRCA still love NGINX but think you should give it some thought.

Heavy +1 for this feature.
NGINX is awesome, but the simplicity of Caddy is unmatched. Currently use it for local development as well, so it would be nice to have a 1:1 local/live environment.
I swithced away from Ploi to manage my own VPS with Caddy as a webserver. Would love to use Ploi again, if it was possible to use Caddy over NGINX.

This would be a huge game-changer for Ploi. Not to mention the newly released FrankenPHP is built on top of Caddy as well and offers incredible performance boosts compared to other options.
I also use Caddy locally and have used it in other applications in front of normally hosted PHP apps as well as Dockerized ones, and it works flawlessly as a server and reverse proxy.

I’d think it possible to just disable NGINX on the server, and replace it manually with Caddy? This shouldn’t prevent Ploi from working—nor maintaining the server—properly, unless I’m missing something.

I would switch to it too.
