Currently there's only IMagick and GMagick, it would provide a very easy way of installing and managing extensions if at least the more common, non-default extensions were added to the list even if they can be installed through a script.

I'm unsure if there's a good way of dynamically getting all possible PHP extension but that would be the perfect solution.

This would also be helpful for extra fine tuning performance, as loading even unused extensions still has a performance impact.

The lack of this also makes it unclear as to which extensions are installed without SSHing into the server, since the docs don't give indication.

I would love to see a list of extensions you'd like to see there, then I can take a look at it!

@Dennis,

Coming from DirectAdmin i am missing these extensions to easily install:

In my use case, Laravel:

  • IGBinary serializer
  • lz4 compression for PHP Redis

See Laravel docs: https://laravel.com/docs/12.x/redis#phpredis-serialization

For Matomo:

  • libmaxminddb
  • MaxMind DB-Reader

https://matomo.org/faq/how-to/faq_164/

Thanks!
