Hey, I have a colleague who is invited as a team member. When he tries to access the insights he gets the message "You need a paid subscription to access the server insights feature". Why? He is part of my team (I am on Unlimited plan). All permissions are granted for all servers. User is PMAHLK.
Thank you.
I would also add, that you have to be able to find team sites in / (slash) search :)
@Glenn-Carremans Just for the record, you don't have to select "each site" if you want them to be able to access all sites, not selecting sites means access to all the sites on that server 😉
This is also described:

I enabled them all because I didn't see any sites but as we figured out that was because of a different issue.
Is this already fixed? We're currently experiencing the same issue with our team members in certain features (a message saying you need a subscription, even though our admin account has Unlimited plan).
Features that show this message are for example: Scripts, Backups, Insights, Status pages
02/02/2023 12:19:51 PM is this Bug open and until today no information from the team? @Dennis any information please?
This https://ploi.io/features/team-management future is not working...
My mate is waiting... to work alone...
@Dennis Any update on this? since we got this Enable team members to find team sites in search
is it still not fixed? I'm planning on upgrading to unlimited.
I just got burned by this too, very hard to explain things when expected lists are empty, would be lovely if this could be fixed so you can see the sites you have access to through a team!
This is the most annoying part of Ploi for me right now. With multiple team members and with no ability to pass on all the features of the unlimited plan. This needs to be fixed. Forge has it down with circles but Ploi is a better product please fix.
I'd like to add my +1 to this. Have team members unable to see servers they have permissions to in their dashboard, as well as not being able to do things like cloning or set up a new server with monitoring etc. If they make a server, I am unable to see it (its personal to them?) and it has to be transferred.
It's a bit of a pain point in the company but manageable at the moment.
+1 - I run a software team and definitely don't want to have 1 main account with all the features and all my team mates with limited functionality.
This would be a huge enhancement and I'd be happy to support in any way I can to bring it forwards
See here a screenshot
The user has access to the site(s) see here

Same for DB password reset - will go to our email instead of the email of the develope requesting the reset

Also the option to limit the creation of sites, so we can give users permission to manage specific sites or only view them but not create new sites.
Same goes for databases since a team member can now see all databases instead of only selected if possible.
The same can then be applies for daemons, cronjobs and php configs since this can be fetched and thus can apply to access rules
Merged Improve teams add member UX into this item \n\n Created by: Glenn Carremans \n\n We wanted to add a "admin" user that has access to every server and site but with the current Ploi UX we had to manually add each server to the user and after that add all sites in each server. We have 10+ servers and each server contains multiple sites.
An option "give full access" would have been very helpful in this situation.
Merged Teams Access to Backups into this item \n\n Created by: Kay van Aarssen \n\n We are working more and more with multiple users. And I myself am not always present when the Devs need to deploy stuff. Of course I would like them to run backups before deployment from at least the Database.
Don't know if it has been requested before. But in the Teams section there needs to be an option to allow team members to run backups and or restore / download them.
This is now not possible because when they go to their backup section its empty under their account. Backups need to be persistant on servers and not depend 100% on an account. Yes it can be linked to my account as the "Owner" of the backup job. But Devs should be able to interact with the backups
Merged Team member does not see site under /panel/sites but has access through server into this item \n\n Created by: Lubor Nosek \n\n We have a team member that has access only to selected site. She has to click on shared server, sites and can access it through there.
If she goes directly to /panel/sites it is empty. Shared sites should definitely be visible in there.
Merged Ability to view team sites into this item \n\n Created by: Anees Khan \n\n Hi,
It would be great if we can see team sites just like team servers:

Merged Teams Permissions Limitations into this item \n\n Created by: Kay van Aarssen \n\n As discussed in discord. Teams and Permissions need some attention.
We now have some developers (internal and external) that need access to servers/sites.
- And they cannot see sites if they added new once i still need to manually give them permission. Otherwise they need to go via the server page and then sites
- Also SSH key from their profile they cannot deploy it to a server - sure that’s okay but instead of only deploy to server make an option to deploy it to sites in bulk.
- Permission to backups of the sites/servers they have access to
First of all, sorry for the spam!
Ok so while we did fix the initial posters issue, we're currently massively refactoring the teams feature.
You will be able to "switch" active teams and see all the correct entities per team, not the jerky system we have as it is now. All tabs will work for team members like they should, all the sites in that, etcetera. It will be much more consistent, and much more safer as well.
All the items I merged above, are planned to be fixed. We're already very far into the development progress, I'd say about 70%, where the most of it left is testing and discovering bugs ourselves.
Don't know if i mentioned it here but here it goes again. Now a team member also has rights to create new sites - sometimes we do not want that thet can manage sites that they have access to. But not create new once. So would be nice to have more granular permissions for team memebers if they can manage/create/delete/read sites. And or specific sites. Yes it can go deep don't know how to put that in the interface but at least what should be an option from the start. Enable / Disable the site creation on specific servers for members.
Ok so the major update just went live and I'd love to hear if your team members are now properly able to do actions you allow them to do, no more "You need a paid subscription" stuff.
Team member does not have access to all features (you need a paid subscription …)
