We have an endpoint to toggle, but no way to confirm if it is already toggled on or off.
Either GET site or GET repository, should return a boolean for quick_deploy status.
Additionally, the API misled me; I toggled, but it didn't work. When I tried in the UI, I encountered an authorization error with GitLab and had to reconnect. I would prefer if the API endpoint for toggling was accurate as well.
