Currently TransIP DNS is only possible using an Access token. This access token can only be used / generated for 1 month maximum. This means every month I have to unlink the TransIP DNS settings and than re-link with the new Access token.

With Key Pairs, the authentication can be used indefinitely. Trans IP provides an Authentication Class for logging in using Key Pairs.

Instead of adding an Access Token, you should add a Username (your TransIP Control Panel login name) and a Private Key in the

-----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY-----
MIIEvgIBADANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQEFAASCBKgwggSkAgEAAoIBAQDqzKpqyyFAJtVH
.....
yVgtE8q/dxcG0cxtvqzGqe1f
-----END PRIVATE KEY-----

format.

I use Key Pairs approach in my own Traefik setup as well. This way, I never ever have to re-add the TransIP Acces tokens.

Hi! 👋

Thank you for your suggestion, for now, we do not see any value in adding this. We're probably going to drop the TransIP DNS integration.

However we will be keeping this card for future reference, if it gets more upvotes and traction we will reconsider the suggestion.
