There is a range of open-source Git providers that can be self-hosted, being able to connect them to Ploi would be a very nice addition and expand from only self-hosted GitLab support to other options.

As a note, I did try to connect my Gitea (web-facing) instance to Ploi through the Gitlab Self-hosted option however Ploi wasn't able to connect. (This could be on my end potentially!)

If this suggestion gains more support from our user community, we'll certainly revisit the idea. In the meantime, you may find that you can achieve similar results through manual setup, if applicable to your situation.

Alternatively, if applicable, you could consider adding this request to the Ploi roadmap.
