At the moment, it is only possible to get 1 certificate for the main domain including all aliases. So when we add a new alias, we need to delete the old certificate and then get a new one, which makes all other aliases unavailable for some seconds. Also, this does leak information which other sites/aliases are hosted on the same server/have the same certificate.
It would be nice if it would be possible to get a single certificate per alias.

Instead of creating aliases you could also look at site > manage > tenants. Each "tenant" is able to get its own SSL.

Yes, I'd recommend using Tenants for this. We do have a request open for expanding an existing certificate though.
