There's currently no way to configure the default password for a Redis instance. Doing so via terminal is cumbersome and error prone, so having a safe way to set it via the UI would be appreciated.

Is this for a 'normal' server? Because I just noticed, the Redis server type, already has this feature ☺️

Yeah, a normal server with everything installed. I've checked the server manage page, but can't find anything related to it.

Also, FYI, when I click "edit database configuration" I get "Configuration file could not be found".

I miss Redis management and log checking as well. All needs to be done from command line. Client misses this type of control sorely. No way to check Redis logs, edit Redis config and so on.

There is now an Edit Redis configuration button inside the manage tab of a normal server. That should cover it!
