To clarify, there are two potential reasons (that I currently recall) why backups may not be created:

  • The temporary directory does not have enough space.
  • An invoice is overdue for an external storage system.

To ensure peace of mind, it would be beneficial to have a system that guarantees the creation of backups for the specified period, rather than relying on checking the backups only when needed, which could lead to unexpected issues.
