At this moment you can install the FTP server, but there is no clear roadmap on how to create FTP users that can access the website public folder with correct permissions so it works well with the SSH site user. Clients expect FTP and not SFTP via SSH key as easy way to access. Also it's important to be able to create multiple FTP users for a site so when somebody doesn't need access anymore it can be delete easy. This functionality should also be available by the API!

I’m afraid this is something we’re not going to include for Ploi, it’s not how Ploi is designed to work. If you want to have customers interact with sites, we recommend using Ploi Core (https://ploi-core.io).
Ploi itself is not meant to be shared like that with customers, its purely meant for developers (freelancers, companies).
The FTP article on how to install FTP server is more of a nicety that we’ve added that to the documentation, but is not something that’s part of Ploi.
Of course - this doesn’t have to hold you back, you’re still the owner of the server and you can set it up however you want, including FTP.
