Alot of people use tools like Ploi/Forge/Runcloud etc. to get stuff ready for them quickly. Many newbie people doesn't have info about max_connections and they don't know that it has to be adjusted according to your server specs. So one of my newbie friend told me that servers created through Ploi doesn't handle traffic as good as runcloud or forge. He said Ploi is bad. I knew that Ploi CANNOT be paid. I always bet on it against others.
I investigated the issue and found out that during server creation, Ploi doesn't tweak the max_connection setting for Mysql no matter what's the spec and size of server. hence when a normal newbie customer sends huge traffic, he gets mysql errors. On the other hand, Forge and Runcloud etc tweak the max_connections setting according do the RAM of server. e.g. 50 to 75 connections per 1 GB of RAM.
I would suggest if Ploi applies this accordingly. Or give buttons in server management page for quick tweaking. same like insights.
