We’ve noticed a recurring issue when backups fail due to low disk space. In some cases, the failed backup process itself leaves temporary files behind, which makes the disk space problem worse and can block future backups or deployments.

It would be super helpful if Available Insights could include a new check or automated fix that:

  • Detects disk space issues caused by failed or incomplete backups
  • Safely clears leftover temporary or partial backup files
  • Optionally provides a one-click “Fix & Clean Disk Space” action
  • Or at least alerts the user clearly that cleanup is required after a failed backup

This would make backup recovery smoother and help prevent cascading failures caused by disk space exhaustion.
