An open-source search application, alternative to Algolia.
Would be great to have this in the CP.
Ploi supports Meilisearch, but we've found this far too slow when it comes to indexing and it's not production-ready in our opinion.
Hi! 👋
Thank you for your suggestion, for now, we do not see any value in adding this.
However we will be keeping this card for future reference, if it gets more upvotes and traction we will reconsider the suggestion.
Moved it to the wrong board, it's not yet in progress, but we're reconsidering 🙌
I'd also love to see this now that it comes as a service in Herd and Laravel support it in scout.
Merged Support for Typesense Server into this item \n\n Created by: António Azevedo \n\n It would be great if Ploi supported Typesense as it supports Meilisearch server creation, since they are both popular open-source search solutions.
it would be really great to have this in the CP as an install option. we have been doing a lot of testing with typesense vs meilisearch vs elasticsearch - typesense is top for us.
Are there any updates on this? :) Thank you!
After seeing this video from Nuno Maduro:

How fast and easy to use it is this would be a really fantastic addition to Ploi
Any updates? When do you plan to release it?
I just put it live, would be lovely if any if you could test and provide feedback (or not if it's already good)!
Thanks 🥰
It's only been a short amount of time, but for now it works remarkably well!
Thanks a lot for all your efforts! <3
I was thinking: is it planned to add TypeSense installation on the same server (like we can add databases to the main server instead of creating a dedicated one)?
For some setups it does not make sense to have a full VPS running for this, and typesense is not that greedy.
Just an idea that would save me a few bucks per month :). Thanks a lot again for your work.
