# Cloning a site to the same server fails

I attempted to clone a site to a new site on the same server and got the following error:
> The file transfer failed with rsync exit code 255.
>

> rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far) [sender]

When cloning to the same server, ssh should not be used.
