# Allow setting VPC at server creation

You can't assign a VPC after creation?

You can't just switch to a different VPC in Digitial Ocean. You have to create a snapshot and spin up a separate server from the snapshot in the desired VPC and then delete the other server. But you can assign it at server creation.

This will really be cool because we are using existing AWS Aurora database and it needs to be in the same vpc, or we are going to have to recreate the database.

 Hello,

Actually, we are not able to select the VPC on which we want to create the server using AWS EC2. It's a **major problem**, because we cannot use Ploi.IO if we have multiple VPC.

It's something that already exist on concurrent platforms.

We absolutely need it for my company to perform the entire migration.
