# Allow installation of PHP excimer extension

Excimer is a sampling profiler extension that is used by for example Sentry to enable [profiling](https://docs.sentry.io/platforms/php/guides/laravel/profiling/).

There is already a UI to install Imagick and Gmagick, having the option to install Excimer would be lovely. It should be as simple as `apt install php-excimer` or `php8.4-excimer` for specific versions.
