Change default table prefix for WordPress install

For both security and an issue with Redis cache cross site poisoning. Can we have the ability to change the default table prefix from wp_ to something else?
maybe a random generated field or the ability to change ourselves?

Do you mean the database name or the tables inside the database?

Hi Dennis - this would be the tables inside the database. Having 2 wordpress installs with the same table prefix seems to contaminate the Redis cache.
