Ability to redirect aliases with checkbox

When adding a new alias, it would be nice to be able to immediately redirect to the main domain via a simple checkbox.

Maybe related, maybe not, but I was hoping you could separate the "Default domain" from the project path. There is a warning right now that if I change the default domain it removes SSLs (which is fine) but it also updates the project path.
I had a client recently ask me to change the canonical URL from "www" to the root and it's a few too many steps to get it done nicely. Would be great if we could set both a default domain a project path (likely set the be the default domain unless otherwise changed) - happy to make a separate request

It's also especially tricky to do manually when there's SSL's involved.
