Ability to prevent sites from being indexed in Google

For testing sites etc it would be good to have a checkbox which would prevent a site from being indexed in Google.
It would be as simple as adding this to the Nginx config.
add_header X-Robots-Tag "noindex, nofollow, nosnippet, noarchive";

Doesn't appear to work for me? Looking at the response headers from an existing site I turned it on for, I don't seen them.

There could be a small delay as ploi adds the header file, and then reloads NGINX wich make give a small delay.
